What a crazy surprise this wine was. I was thinking it would be typical Grenache dominated Rhône wine that was light and fruity..not all the case!! What I got was powerhouse gigantic wine of incredible depth... love the grippy structure, just so many layers of strawberry jam, raspberry preserve , black olives and balsamic peppercorns...this is one of my favorites wines I’ve tried in awhile & it’s def not because of its smoothness. — 4 years ago
A beautiful fresh lush dark-tinged Grenache piece (with little dollops of Syrah, Cinsault, and Clairette). Partnership between Kermit Lynch and the Brunier family (of Vieux Telegraphe fame) to revive a declining 500 year old winery. The results are wonderful. Besides the aforementioned fruit, there is a vibrant cut to the palate, old vine savoriness, dusty flowers, spice, and a layer of smoke/mineral. You’ll want some game meats with this, trust me. @Delectable Wine this is the Les Racines, NOT Terrasse du Diable. — 5 years ago
Import of Kermit Lynch and a FAB wine for 26$! — 9 years ago
A lot going on the nose. Red fruit, black fruit, meat, leather. Would be a good wintertime wine. Too bad they’re sold out at Kermit Lynch. Devin gave it 💯 — 4 years ago
Kermit Lynch does it again with a delicious, reasonably priced French red! — 7 years ago
Chez les Anges dinner for 26 euros. Was on the lighter side but we both liked — 8 years ago
A very pleasant Chateauneuf Du Pape imported by K. Lynch with rich, dark fruits, nice balance, very good oak structure and a spicy, earthy finish. — 10 years ago
