Bricco Dei Tati (Lodali)

Cortese del Piemonte 2015

Citrus nose, some banana. Great flavor. Nice acidity and well balanced. Some banana in the flavor and lingers on the ending, too. — 8 years ago

Bricco Dei Roncotti

Corno del Diavolo Buttafuoco Croatina Blend 2016

"The Devil's horne" is the name of this red wine, due to the high slope of this vineyard in Canneto Pavese (Italy).

Buttafuoco is a blend of 4 different grapes: Croatina, Barbera, Uva rara and Ughetta di Canneto.

Deep color, intense fragrance of prune, red peach and pomegranate.

Full-bodied, power tannins texture, long persistance.

The 15,5 % alcohol is really well balanced, I didn't believe it! (2016 was a very warm summer).

Podere Rocche dei Manzoni

Bricco Manzoni Langhe Nebbiolo 1998

Great well aged langhe nebbiolo. Certainly quite secondary at this point. Lots of bricking in the glass. Mushrooms and decaying leaves in a good way. Smooth, mouth filling, and good acid. — 7 years ago

Staying alive! Still great acidity. I've never had this vintage (1995) but it wS very much alive and even became more expressive with air time. — 8 years ago
