White pinot noir - such a rare find, and a delicious one. A bit more tannin than most whites, without any butter or oak. Good stuff. — 8 years ago
Very good Pinot for the price point. — 9 years ago
Really tasty surprise hit from Oregon. Still super fresh despite 9 years bottle age. — 11 years ago
Quite a nice twist in this 2011 Gamay from Brandborg. Nice juicy berry with a sweet touch of...cherry lollipop(?) at the end. Unique! — 11 years ago

$25 bottle that tastes like a $25 bottle. Silky and light with a good depth of flavor. — 6 years ago
Brand .org 2014 vintage, Gewurztraminer, Elkton, Oregon, same West facing and elevation as alluvial Umpqua River. The slow ripening of this variety and cool fog shrouded evenings maintain juicy acidity that balances the slight residual sugar. — 7 years ago

Terry Brandborg currently has a winery in Elkton, OR where he specializes in (excellent) cool climate varietals, but he got his start with small lots of old vine zin and charbono when working as a longshoreman in San Fran. This one has stood the test of time. Spicy red fruit and sous bois. Made my day after a long week of racking. — 10 years ago
Smells like a strawberry pop tart.... in a good way. Looks a bit frothy in the bottle but not showing on the palate. Enticing and puzzling at the same time. Bright fruit nice acidity and I just want some more. — 11 years ago
