Juicy, fresh, dark fruit bursting with flavour, yet elegant. — 3 years ago
Rich and delicious. It was a pleasure to drink. Enjoyed it with our meal at Corso 98 in Montclair. Again thank you Mr Duffy and Jeh Johnson for a wonderful dinner — 7 years ago
This is one of those "holy fuck, where did gravity just go?!" wines. 100% Vermentinu Corso made from a Belgian of Sicilian descent, who returned to his island to grow vines and olives. More olives than vines. Any of which are particularly damn good, especially the Frappato -called Nerocapitano. But barring that wine, this is one of the most compelling versions, and perhaps clones, of Vermentino I have ever tasted. Not as oxidative than the 2013, also seems to have less skin contact, but I'm pretty sure it's only 48 hours, identical to the prior vintage. But its pristine! And senza chemica. The nose and palate transport me to a magical, far away land that I've never visited, but I cannot wait to go there. — 10 years ago
Since the 2007 vintage, this has been my informal "house red" (informal, because it's not going to be a perfect paring with everything). The 2012 (I have one bottle left) is concentrated, black fruit and minerality, and wonderfully aromatic. This is organically-farmed tannat, cabernet franc, merlot, and Monsieur Bozzi has a few rows of syrah planted as well. The small winery receives its barrels (one-used) from Vega Sicilia in Spain through the consulting oenologist, Stéphane Beuret. — 11 years ago

Immutabile. Speziato. Ma sbilanciato. Migliorato molto con il tempo — 6 years ago
— 8 years ago
Wasn’t sure what I would think of this, as it was a gift rather then a purchase myself. But I actually don’t mind it at all, for an Italian wine. — 8 years ago
A must go to this Enoteca/Wine shop when in Florence Via Del Corso 41/r. Most incredible wine selection !!! See Roberto, tell him Anna sent you. Thanks @Greg Gregory Grazie, 2010 is a great vintage. — 10 years ago
At Corso, this was decanted before 4 PM, consumed at 8 PM. Unlike an earlier bottle, this was not fully ready, although it did not help that we were given ridiculously small glasses. Still, the smoky-ass brooding dark dark cherry of the wine emerges at the end-lime to dive into this oceanic trench and never come out. — 11 years ago
Had at Corso. Excellent. — 2 years ago

— 6 years ago

— 10 years ago
Tried this at Bar Del Corso. — 10 years ago
Ottimo — 12 years ago
