Sweet and tasty. Was surprised at how great it was. My new favorite White Zinfandel. — 8 years ago
Dark aromas of black olive tapenade, wet earth, black plum, black cherries and cracked pepper. Bright, juicy and peppery on the palate. Juicy flavors of cherries, black plum and pomegranate lead to notes of black pepper, oak, and spice layered with bright acidity. The finish is long and spicy with touches of earth and black fruits. Excellent paring with sausage risotto. — 9 years ago
Bright, perfumed nose of white peach, melon, and bouquets of wild flowers. Crisp, clean and vibrant on the palate with just a touch of creaminess. Juicy, fruity flavors of citrus, peach, and honeydew lead to striking minerality with hints of essential lemon oil and stone with rich acidity. The finish is medium length with clean acidity and a touch more minerality. Fantastic first vintage from these young Viognier vines! — 10 years ago
Pleasantly surprised by this new (to me) grape! Pairs well with seafood entrées. — 2 years ago
Jammy, light but still has depth — 5 years ago
Not too dry, not too sweet. Recommend! — 6 years ago
This local vineyard wine (out of Da Boonies, Murylund) is a new favorite! With 12% alc/volume it has a sweet taste of honey but not overly sweet and a crisp like a Granny Smith apple. — 8 years ago
A bright, fruit-forward nose with nose of raspberries and blackberries with touches of mocha, dried earth and tar. The palate is fresh and bright with soft tannins. Soft black fruit flavors yield to gentile herbal notes and drying tannins. The finish is long and fruity with a touch more dried herbs. A beautiful food wine. — 8 years ago
Beautiful inky color that just starts to break around the edge. Deep, smoky and oaky nose with notes of mocha, black fruits, leather, smoked meat and dried herbs. Bright and juicy and medium-bodied on the palate with lovey acidity. Rich flavors of black fruits lead to notes of black pepper, dried herbs and cocoa powder. The long finish is backed by big, vibrant acidity and soft, textured tannins. Pairs beautifully with bolognese sauce. — 10 years ago
Deep, smoky, earthy nose. Aromas of plum, black pepper, black olive, cocoa powder, tar and dried herbs. Surprisingly young and fresh on the palate. Flavors of black cherries and plums lead to dark flavors of dusty, dried herbs, earth and a touch of tar balanced by striking acidity. The finish is long and smooth with just a hint of spice and drying tannins. Reminiscent of a wonderful Tuscan red. — 10 years ago

Very nice dry stainless Chardonnay. Great body letting the grape shine. — 6 years ago
Third vintage and still probably the best white Boordy now makes. A beautiful, fresh nose of apricot and peach and just a touch of fresh grass. The palate is lush and juicy fresh out of the bottle with rich, dry acidity. Juicy flavors of apple, peach and melon followed by very dry herbal tones and a touch of stone. The finish is long dry and juicy at the same time. Really pretty. — 7 years ago
The nose opens bright and youthful with notes of plum and black berry with just a touch of smokiness. The palate is bright and fresh with lively acidity. The 60% Merlot really shows with flavors of red and black plum, sour cherry, dried herbs and black pepper all backed by soft, gentile tannins. The wine finishes peppery with lingering acidity. Great pasta wine. — 9 years ago

On the lighter side for a Chardonnay, which suits me just fine. Great complement to simple seafood dishes, but might not stand up to heavier preparations. — a year ago
