I was somewhat disappointed with all of the wines of this winery except for this one. I suppose I had high expectations because I had seen and heard some press and buzz around them and the labels seemed to indicate parcel, true to the terroir wines, yet I found reduction, acetic acid and funk or green tannins in the wines. This was the one shinning star for me. I loves me a good #Godello and this was crisp and electric. — 3 years ago
A bit earthy, slight mineral, low oak — 5 years ago
Golden yellow, mellow and really well rounded. No biting acidity, but feutiy and good liberality. More round and has more depth than expected. Really lovely. — 7 years ago

Great medium body white. Excellent salinity. — 5 years ago
weighty, meaty Godello. apple, hay, sage hangs on the palette and lovely structure has me wondering what a couple of years in bottle will do for this delicious wine. — 7 years ago

At the highly regarded “Somoza” restaurant in Niseko. The food was amazing - this wine overpriced at 47,000 Yen - $470 AUD for a Village wine. Quite a simple wine and a little closed. Was looking for the Chambolle perfume which was not there yet. The palate was uncomplicated and straightforward. Strawberry and raspberry, red currant. Medium minus palate length. Moderate tannins. French wine tends to be overpriced in Japan. — 16 days ago
