On the nose, this is cranberry and faint raspberry... Wintertime cocoa? On the palate, this is back to the fruit... Red plum, cranberry... A medium body... The acidity is past medium. Juicy. Tannins very present but unfocused. Medium length of red plum skins. — a month ago
This was the reasonably priced bottle at our restaurant and I like Malbec so… it has a typical Malbec nose late season boysenberry and sweet leathery notes but quite light and refreshing on the palate. I love the finish! Pairs perfectly with the spicy tuna! Still sort of one dimensional yet easy to drink — 12 hours ago
Best way I can think of to describe it is that it taste “bright”. VERY good and smooth — 4 days ago

100% Malbec crafted by the Catena Zapata family, which established with their first Malbec vineyard planted in Mendoza, Argentina in the beginning of 1900’s.
This is sensational mid-range in the Zapata portfolio, highly perfumed wine, on nose it welcomes you with a blend of medley berries, ripen plums and baked blueberries. On the palate shows highly and deep flavors of dark chocolate, some hint of herbaceous and violet flowers as well.
The mouthfeel is denoted by the creamy and rounded tannins with a execptional depth and complexity. Decant it for 45-60 mins, pour and cheers! — a month ago
Well the wife got brave and opened a bottle I didn’t want used in a sauce the other day. Probably had her dad over since I was on a bis trip. Glad I got to try. Nice wine. — 2 months ago
