A little sweeter than I generally like but a great expression of Gewurztraminer. Enjoyed with a not too spicy stir fry and would expect the stone fruits and honey to pair well with other flavorful and or spicy foods. Medium bodied wine which is bright Ruby in color with wonderful aromas of black cherry and soft oak. Nose carries flavors of cherry, blueberry, vanilla, and dried fruit. Pair with smoked meats, duck confit, pasta with red sauce. ABV = 14.8% — 6 years ago
