Wonderful Gattinara Nebbiolo from Vallana. Subtle fragrant nose of rose petals and berry's. On the palate it's a hint of licorice and spice but the tannins give it an elegance. Could use another 2 - 5 years to really soften. — 8 years ago

Not killing it just yet. Loads of violet and florals on the nose but the depth is not there. Plenty of berry's and mocha but that's all. Thinner finish. Normally winemaker Steve L will give you a longer juicier finish. Still very drinkable but there are better Hall Cabs. — 8 years ago
