"the eye-catching hue is only the beginning. Pop the cork, and you're in for a rush of lusciously sweet strawberry and red cherry flavors, edged with a juicy liveliness that'll have you reaching for sip after sip.". Very enjoyable and refreshing new twist on port wine! — 4 years ago

Wife said too dry but can’t go by her as she likes SWEET wine. I found it very nice.
Purchased thru wine club and am happy with it. — 3 months ago
I’m a great lover of port wines, and while this one isn’t the “best ever” it’s very good. Tons of fruit, with a nice balance of acidity. From WSJ Wines Advent Calendar. — 2 years ago

From Laithwaites. Bev says 10 but it's not perfect. Definitely buy again though. — 5 months ago
Lovely fruity depth, warming, full-bodied and rich — a year ago
"ruby red color warm, earthy aromas of blackberries, spices and herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied with complex berry notes, hints of tannins, a balanced acidity and a nice dry finish." — 4 years ago
Ray Vanderhoff
Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (78%), Petite Verdot (6%), Carmenere (6%), Cabernet Franc (5%) and Syrah (5%). Dark ruby color. Aromas of blue and black fruit, slate, and cedar wood. There was also a slight hint of green pepper that blew off rather quickly. Flavors of ripe blue and black berries/cherries, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and caramel. Touch of Asian spice on the long and persistent finish. Nicely balanced and quite fresh. Powerful and complex, but quite elegant at the same time. Appreciate the bottle, Kase. — 10 days ago
