Interesting and tasty red from Pulgia, not sure where obtained. Dark Ruby. Forest, mushroom and ripe dark fruits, keep one sniffing. minerals and acids in balance with almost velvety coating on palate. Long lingering finish. Wonder how it tastes when young. Found previous notes, AA18 red blend Predominantly Nero di Troia with Montepulciano per wine searcher. Last bottle. — 4 years ago

Amazing wine! Smooth jammy finish with just the right hint of bourbon. Definitely adding to my list of favs. — 4 months ago
Blend of primarily Nero di Troia with some Aglianico blended in. Dark ruby color. Aromas of tart black and blue berries, tar and bitter baker’s chocolate. Flavors of cooked blackberries, black cherries and dark plums along with notes of dark chocolate, tobacco and baking spices. Long and lingering finish. Quite ripe, juicy, full bodied and concentrated. Nicely balanced and harmonious. Fantastic QPR. Excellent find! — 2 years ago

Great wine for the money. Fruit forward. Soft for a cabernet. Not much oak. Very fruit forward for a cabernet. — 5 years ago

One bourbon, one scotch and one beer. Therefore, wine doesn't go long. — 5 years ago
Medium bodied, fruity and luscious red! Easy everyday wine, great with red pastas, pizza and hearty cheeses. — 5 years ago
Ink dark, nice dark red fruit and vanilla oak, still fine tannins at ten years old. — 6 years ago
Full bodied and strong. Smells of berry, and tastes of pepper. Smooth and long lasting finish. A bit boozy when first opened. Would go well with strong foods, like fatty meats or heavy butter or rich garlic. — 7 years ago
