Starts with a jam flavor, followed by a vanilla-oak finish — 4 years ago
2023 vintage. Pulga is the top white wine from Quinta da Romaneira in the Douro valley. A blend of 75% Boal do Douro, 15% Viosinho and 10% Rabigato, 100% barrel fermented ( 60% in new oak). Reminiscent of a great dry Sémillon from the Sauternes region. This is only the second vintage produced from the Pulga vineyard. — a year ago
2018 vintage. Vieira de Sousa Grande Reserva. Douro DOC. 50% Touriga Francesa from the Quinta da Àgua Alta, mixed with a field blend of Touriga Nacional , Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and other grape varieties from Quinta do Fojo. 2666 bottles produced. Deep red with purplish rim. Intense perfume of black fruits and spices. Powerful and full-bodied, while maintaining elegance. Spicy and complex with a long peppery finish. Abv. 14,5 %. — 3 years ago
Very special, light tinto — 4 years ago
Tannic, but bright finish. Decent for money. — a year ago
Extremely balanced black fruits, licorice, vanilla and tons of milk chocolate. Rounded tannins. Just a really nice drop. Best dry red on the Portuguese trip. — 3 years ago
This is a conversion port - to be given to the wine drinker who thinks they do not care for port. It is, before all things, a WINE - great fruit on the nose and tongue. Cranberry, raspberry and sweet cherries. The finish is where the port character comes in - sweet, unctuous, but not too sweet and unctuous. Just a delight. — 4 years ago
Damn damn damn. If you can get your hands on one of these do it stat. Amazinggggggg. The douro grape is amazing that we had with cacio e pepe. A red when poured that when you look at it you know this is going to take you to another place. When you take that first sip, the taste of freshness. Seriously I could drink this all night — 5 years ago
