Still packing a high octane, harmonious punch after 12yrs. — 10 months ago
Last score of 92 given a little over 3 years ago. This wine has definitely improved with time in the bottle since then but I dare say that it really (for me) isn't necessarily true to the variety. I initially rated this a 95 but settled on 94. My drink dates (2015-2026) which vary quite a bit from CT's are right on the money. This one was served pop and pour although the best of this wine was probably about 2 hours after cork pop. This one is at the top of the hill right now. Black and blue sweet youthful roasted fruit nose and palate with wildflowers. Great acidity on the entry and the finish. Toasted tannin. This is probably a top 5 Cab Franc for me. I've managed to save a lot of 2012's, and I think that if they all are going to drink similar to this I need to start crackin' em!! Drink or hold another 5-7 years. — 5 years ago
A bit too smooth at the open - however, an hour later tangy fruits and chalk came through. A nice find for the money and it's age. The steak at the Bancroft isn't too bad either... — 8 years ago
Has that lovely aromatic thing that GC burgundy has that Cali pinots just don't. Firmly structured still, ruby in the glass, and perhaps a little foursquare overall for GC, but still a beauty. Some wines age like Anne Bancroft, and some a bit more like Kathleen Turner. — 8 years ago

A rich, fruity Merlot. Lots of depth and a smooth finish. Love it. — 7 months ago
