Excellent after just a few minutes open at room temp. No sticky sweetness, plenty of spices, no sharp or squeaky tannins. I would love to run this by some friends and see what they think. 😊 Enjoying this with/splashed over some home-cooked ground lamb. So glad I tried it once again. Trinchero Napa Valley is the flagship winery of Trinchero family estates, which owns mass market brands such as Sutter Home and Joel Gott. And this Chard certainly lives up to the top billing.
Aromas of pear, peach, lime, thyme, and hint of vanilla. The palate is substantial yet delicate. Beautiful round acidity. Finish is crisp with lingering chalky minerality. — 6 months ago
