Silky red fruit. Surprisingly ripe. Blind I would call Côte d'Or. Not the most complex, but just delicious. — 6 years ago
2000 vintage. Blend of Chardonnay and Pinot. Toasty, brioche, nutty, but still fresh. Apples and pears. Elegance and power. Delicious. — 8 years ago
Great bottle to start the New Year with! — 3 months ago
bouquet is deep, complex and vibrant, offering up scents of apple, nectarine, a touch of hazelnut, patissière, a beautifully complex base of soil tones and a top note of dried flowers. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and complex, with a fine core, lovely soil undertow, refined mousse, bright acids and fine focus and balance on the long, classy and wide open finish. — a year ago
