Vintage 2020 | ridiculous light cola colour. I was totally discouraged. But smells very nice and after two years in cellar the taste is awesome: a solid combination of spices and vanilla that brings a sunny smile in my face. Paired with tartare and oven mixed vegetables. Proud, wine from my homeland. // second day with a pasta broccoli, still good but now it is very clear that the wine is over-oaked. — 6 months ago
Vintage 2020 | wine to match with carpaccio. It’s ultra light, my winefriends think it’s is a rosé because of the light colour. It’s also ultra soft in taste and has nice bitters. For lovers of light wines. Good effort from a Dutch vintner. We tasted blind. When people see Pinot Noir ánd barriques at the label they will for certain expect something different from what they get. — a year ago
Met lichte houtrijping krijgt deze Pinot Noir een zachte smaak en afronding. In combinatie met Zwezerik en aardappel risotto en fijne combinatie. — 7 years ago

So, what about a Dutch wine?? Yes, you read it correctly, wine…not beer. They are starting to make wines in the south of the country, Limburg. We visited the St. Martinus winery last September. This was a white blend of Pinot gris and Souvignier gris (I had never heard ofF). It was okay. Had green undernotes and a bit of that agave flavor that I don’t care for much, but I did like the grapefruit/star fruit tangy-ness. It was refreshing, good acidity. A good wine to have when a Dutchy wins the first Tour de France for women!!! — 4 years ago
