Really nice, super inexpensive — 2 years ago
Before we take a sip, we must embrace this bouquet! The bouquet was amazing. Full of blackberries, cedar and oak. On the palet, this full bodied wine is on the dryer side but paired well with a Tuscan pizza! I guess it comes down to what you eat it with?! The Italians are the wine experts but the Portuguese do a great job! — 4 years ago

Lovely wine with good acidity! — 7 years ago
Delicious, approachable wine. Lucious on the tongue, well balanced with a light plum/raspberry and oak finish. Roasted red meats go great. — a year ago
Aromas of dark plums, black olives, violets and eucalyptus.
Lighter body than expected with the smell, a mix of tart and ripe blackberry, soft tannins.

Too easy to drink for 14%! — a year ago
A fairly light version of the grape. California just doesn’t do chard as well as the French. — 6 years ago
— 6 years ago

Nose: Côte d’Or nose. Hint of elegant wood. White flowers.
Palate: sweet oak. Not oaky. Great fruit. Apple. Citrus. Lacks a bit of verve. Acidity on finish.

— 4 years ago
Rhonda likes a lot, abd it is as good as the other sparkling wines. It is from Brazil. At $5 a bottle at total wine and Moore it is a steal — 6 years ago
Very smooth for a red, loved it!🍷 — 7 years ago
Interesting earthy red. Aragones, Syrah, and Castelao — 7 years ago
Rich, dynamic, full-bodied with a subtle cranberry and smoke nose. Deliciously heavy on the tongue without being overwhelming. Had with Buffalo Cheese dip and blue corn tortillas. — 8 years ago

In 2019 Alma Carraovejas, known from the Ribera del Duero winery Pago de Carraovejas, acquired Viña Meín from the Ribeiro region in Galicia, owned by the legendary winemaker Emilio Rojo. The purpose of the acquisition was to preserve ancient vineyards and highlighting traditional Galician grape varieties. This Meín O Gran contains quite some Galician grape varieties: 80% Treixadura, 4% Albariño, 4% Torrontés, 3% Caíño Blanco, 3% Godello, 3% Lado, 3% Loureira Blanca.
The wine is fresh, clean, minerally, with white fruit flavours of green apple, ripe peach, pear and a hint of fresh herbs. Delicious. — 8 days ago
