Bright yellow. Clear. A bit closed on the nose, ripe apples, peach, honey, oak. Dried fruits, orange on palette. Acid. Tangy or spicy. Silky, medium finish. Tasted in May 2021 at BigMacs&Burgundy book event by Alliance Francaise. — 4 years ago
My last bottle of this terrific multi-vintage blend of 61% Grenache, 35% Syrah, and 4% Mourvèdre. TB1 was released in 2019 and it’s the only non-vintage release. There will be no TB2, sadly.
Redolent with spiced ripe dark and red fruits, this is nevertheless savory and meaty. Proper GSM blend with California flair. — 5 months ago

The 2021 Alliance has everything, it is not as well balanced as the 2020 but close. — 2 years ago
Bright and a tad hot. Some pepper/spice. Cherry cola with soft tannins and a TON of acidity. Almost an effervescence which never hurts my feelings. Smells candy sweet but drinks with a bit more maturity. — 3 years ago

Another Southern Rhone blend that has higher percentage of Grenache than the reserve, the ‘16 is in a good place now. More dark-fruited than the ‘17 I tasted, the nose shows plum, blackberry, currant, black pepper, licorice, and violet. Rich and concentrated on the palate with tightly knit fruits, round acidity and savory undertone. Plush ripe tannins. — 9 days ago
