Improving with age. Nice Zin that’s not like a typical Zin. — 3 years ago
Lookit that color. Mt Eden is so damn consistent and so good. Butterscotch, vanilla bean creme brûlée, mandarin orange, lemon zest, clove, pineapple cake, bit of smoke. Almost touches an exotic fruit register, quite opulent but I’m all about it. @Adriana Fabbro give your Rombauer customers this instead — 3 years ago
A little on the drier side yet fruity and balanced. Nice finish. Easy to drink no acidity — 4 years ago
First taste after saving for so long! From GL but unfortunately no email left. Very structured and deep with earthy ripe floral notes and what seemed like a typical medium garnet color. Interesting story on vineyard. 10-15% Neive Nebbiolo! One bottle left, plus two barbaresco. — 2 years ago
I carricante believe how delicious this is at the price. (Pun credit to @Adriana Fabbro). Pale yellow, toasty nuts, lemon zest, honey, dried flowers and hay on the nose, palate is viscous and honeyed but with searing acidity, lemon and chalk, green apple, melon, peach, smoky sage on the back. Just got a couple in and opened one just for the halibut. — 3 years ago
Oxidative / nutty / bruised apple initially, harsh edges softened pretty quickly, opened up into citrus, white flowers, apricot, waxy body with nice cut. Enjoyed with one of my favorite Italians @Adriana Fabbro — 4 years ago
Very interesting wine. Lots of red ripe fruits and oak. Strong finish, but balanced. — 2 years ago

Dinner at Therese Chris 1/7/24 dinner, that terrific mature Barb with lift and autumnal leaf and lively texture profile, great with the beef stew. — 4 months ago
