Purchased during 2017 visit to the winery. Vineyard is in Ribbon Ridge AVA with Willakenzie soils. Black cherry, raspberry and blueberry fruit, with orange zest, cinnamon spice, black pepper and violet notes. Blue fruit and spice driven. Almost has a touch of effervescence. Reminiscent of Beaux Freres. — a year ago

This is the Emery single vineyard bottling. Wow, still drinking great. Very Burgundy like: tart red berries, forest floor, sour cherry. Complex, layered and not showing it’s age at all. — a month ago
