Peppery and beautiful — 3 years ago
Outstanding - and peaking.
Fine grained tannins, secondary aromas in balance with primary, and well-integrated oak. Medium + body, high toned, with a lingering finish and acidity. Great with food, with incredible complexity. Dark fruits are present with some pretty herbal/mint notes, vanilla, tobacco, and additional earthiness. — 4 months ago
Starts with fragrant Austrian cherries 🍒 and hint of Madagascar vanilla to boot! A light to medium body along with a refined sweetness at the end. Supple, ripe and a detectable wine to share with those you love most! — 3 years ago

Der schmeckt nicht gelb und nicht blau, sondern wie der Name es bereits verrät grün und frisch wie eine gemähte Almwiese im Frühling. — 4 years ago

This I opened a few days back the 2021 Berger Lower Austria Grüner Veltliner from Gedersdorf, Austria.
On the nose was lime, green beans, white pepper, herbaceous notes, minerality and wet rock.
On the palate there is lime, gooseberry, grapefruit, minerality and wet rock.
This wine is medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel medium + to high acidity that follows with a long refreshing citrus lime and wet rock finish. This come in a 1 liter bottle which I found very enjoyable. I hope your weekend has been a joyous one and your week ahead is smooth. Please stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂 — 2 months ago
