Dandelion Rías Baixas Albariño

Nectarines, white peach. Medium bodied. Saline & lemon zest finish. A bit sweet, which was a detractor, however might do really well with spicy fare. — 3 years ago

Pazo de Señorans

Selección de Añada Rías Baixas Albariño 2008

Pale golden in colour.
Shy nose, bright acidity and a saline, stony minerality on the palate.
Lemon juice, starfruit, some green herbs, seabreeze, wet pebbles. Actually, this shows very young, nervous and tight and IMHO it could use a tad more charm, rondeur, richesse. Maybe some extra cellartime will do the trick..?

Terra de Asorei

Nai e Señora Val do Salnés Albariño

This yellow-gold wine has aromas that are more herbal than floral, with savory dill bolstering the citrus and stone fruit. The palate carries much citrus along with savory balsamic notes. Acidity is great, and makes for a lively pairing with a variety of salads and seafood. — 3 years ago

Rías Baixas Albariño 2014

El sabor intenso a chabacano y cebada de este vilanovés es muy cautivante. Los albariños no defraudan, eso para mí es un hecho hasta el momento. Refrescante como la brisa de Pontevedra de su cuna.

The intense flavor of apricot and barley of this vilanovés is very captivating. Albariño do not disappoint, that for me is a fact so far. Refreshing as the breeze of Pontevedra from its cradle.

Raul Pérez

Muti Rías Baixas Albariño 2010

Ok... I admit it... this straggler Spanish Albariño lost it’s way in my cellar. 10 years old for a grape not altogether known for longevity... what do I expect? Medium gold in the glass... clear...broken cork. Amazing aroma of pineapple, lychee, and peach. The wine is still alive.. still offering up bright acidity and round weighted fruit. Poured too cold, the aromas intensify as it warms. The wine is rich, round and complex...playing with your palate. I was prepared to dump, had a lessor wine at the ready. But... hell no. This wine rocks. Mr. Perez is often referred to as a trail-blazing maverick...what do I know. The wine is a wonder! — 2 years ago
