Feldmarschall Von Fenner Zu Fennberg Südtirol-Alto Adige Müller-Thurgau 2020

Delectable Wine
9.4

The 2020 Müller-Thurgau Feldmarschall von Fenner bursts from the glass with a captivating mix of nectarine and lemon zest complicated by crushed rocks and curry leaves. This is texturally deep, flowing across the palate like pure silk. A saline mineral perfectly contrasts core citrus-tinged orchard fruits and ripe melon. The word salty doesn’t do this justice, as the 2020 finishes distinctively savory and intensely spicey, reverberating with residual acids that keep the mouth watering for more. While still relatively young, this is utterly fantastic. I can’t wait to see what a few years of cellaring might reveal. (Eric Guido, Vinous, May 2023) — a month ago

Morei Vigneti delle Dolomiti Teroldego 2021

Delectable Wine
9.4

The 2021 Teroldego Morei is intense in the glass. Exotic spices and dark, dusty florals offset the crushed stone and dried cherry notes. This floods the palate with masses of ripe red fruit and mineral tones propelled by zesty acidity. Grippy tannins take hold through the finale, allowing inner violet florals and clove notes to carry on. A twang of sour citrus punctuates the experience perfectly. Alto Adige Schiava 2020

Light and easy drinking Italian mountain red. Bright garnet color. Very simple and not overly complex. However, this wine can handle a bit of a chill and is quite refreshing. Faint aromas of cherries and a hint of perfume. Pallet also features cherries along with toasted/bitter almonds (pleasant) on the reasonably long finish. Very light acidity. 13% ABV. Nice Elegance. So easy to drink. — 20 days ago

L'Oasis Glasthule, sauvignon blanc from Italy, well very surprised by this excellent SB, Dolomites? Crisp, citrus, hint of gooseberry and the best, and only mother in law likes it! — a month ago

Granato Teroldego 2011

What a terrific wine, up untill now the best of 2023! The VA that was very present in its youth mellowed down and has integrated completely with the rest. Sour cherry and a very long ending. Wine completely in balance! — 21 days ago

Fuoripista Vigneti delle Dolomiti Pinot Grigio 2018

Gorgeous golden red colour. Spice cake, cider, apple and subtle aromatics of strawberry extend to the palate; prominent tart cherry in flavour and acid. Light balsamic. Dried apricot. — 25 days ago
