Super tasty cab sauv-Sangiovese blend. The best of both grapes. Really fruity up front but finishes like a California cab, dry and full bodied. Had with filet mignon for thanksgiving. A pricier bottle (~$55) but worth it for a special occasion. — 5 days ago

Decided to break open this Brunello tonight, after having a 2015 Argiano last night. This one is super rich with dark cherry, chocolate, and spice aromas. On the bud, the cherry notes continue to come out with cedar/oak notes and subtle spice notes. It velvety smooth with mild tannins and a nice long finish. Great with our steak and kale salad. Looking forward to tasting it with our chocolates later. This one is by far the winner of the two wines. I still have 6 more bottles in the cellar and can’t wait to see how it continues to evolve. — 18 days ago
