Heart of the Vineyard Red Blend 2012

Wonderful Bordeaux style red blend from Sullivan. Really quite balanced at this point - tannins have receded, acid slightly there, very good fruit. — 2 months ago

One of the best Cabs I have had in a while. Enjoyed with grilled NY strip steak, chicken shish kabobs, grilled vegetables, pita and hummus, tzatziki, couscous, and raspberry pie a la mode. — 5 months ago

Estate Bottled Rutherford Merlot 2012

Surprisingly delicious at 10 years of age. Wonderful ripe Napa jelly fruit. Surprisingly good acid, the tannins have receded but still provide some structure. Rarely drink Napa merlot but this is compelling. Certainly somewhat biased by the fact that I worked on this vineyard in 2011. Nice pairing with skirt steak on the grill. — 2 years ago

Coeur de Vigne Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2019

Great wine overall. That strong jammy from this vintage can be found here but with just about right amount of tannins it feels delightful on the texture. — 2 months ago

Estate Grown Rutherford Petit Verdot 2017

A bit harsh with flint tobacco and minerality. A deep vibrant red color with a long lingering aftertaste. Will be great in 10 years. Too big now🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 2 years ago

Unusual wine . I don’t think it will improve with age

Always a favorite when grilling steaks, and didn't fail thjs time either. Full body and smooth, with a long finish and nice balance throughout. — 4 months ago

Baw Baw Shire Chardonnay 2021

A much-needed injection of Yarra Valley sunshine into the continuous rain of a London summer. Complex and compelling as always. Maybe a bit more of an alcohol hit than I remember, softening as it sits for a while. — 5 months ago

Sullivan Vineyard Chardonnay 2012

2012. Tropical pineapple core and crisp vanilla oak made for a delicious pairing with grilled bacon-wrapped turkey tenderloins. Love to have warm winter days to fire up the Weber! — 2 years ago
