Wine dinner with big group including Butch neighbor Art, Philip and Bewan. App filled in the mostly missing label! Different profile than the Krug ‘74, leaner and firmer with a more straightforward profile that’s not quite as multi dimensional but still an amazing 50 year old! Old price label of $8.29 still on bottle. — 8 months ago

August Sebastiani & brother-in-law, Kendrick Coakley, craft small-lot wines made with minimal intervention, so one can enjoy the truest representation of each appellation & how its terroir impacts specific varietals. Came across this rarity & grabbed a bottle. Aromas of ripe berry fruits & wafts of floral notes. On the palate raspberry & blueberry flavors, sweet cinnamon spice with an edge of tobacco tones. Smooth tannins, lingering ending with soft oaky notes. Great value! Nice! Small production. — 3 years ago
