A blackberry nose here. On the palate, the blackberry shows itself in jam form over a soft bed of tannin. An alcohol note comes next. Black current intrigue now. Some sour.

An understated fruity taste with a very smooth and pleasant dry finish...would mark it as high as 9 or 9.1 but it has a very tart finish that is more pronounced.
