Salice Salentino is still one of my favourite areas in Italy for red wine. This one is and keeps a classic. The riserva is really a surplus on this one, making it have a clean complex full body aftertase. — 6 months ago
This was delightful. Smooth, rich, strongly fruity. Perfect on its own. New fave!!!! Endlessly drinkable, and I love that the vineyard is female run. — 3 years ago

Great wine from Puglia - 80% Negroamaro, 20% Malvasia Nera. Lush ruby red. Very smooth. Enjoyed at Eataly in Chicago. — 9 months ago
Bergamot, creamy, green Apple, vanilla and a little oak. In Tropea — 4 years ago
Puglia, the heal of the boot of Italy is not one of your more exhalted wine regions. But based on this wine it should be. Made from mostly Negromaro grapes, Massaria Li Veli has tons of deep stewed plums, cloves, nutmeg, and spice. Fantastic when young and could age for a while I am sure. — 5 months ago
