Smith Devereux Winery M Vino Rosé 2020, Russian River Valley, California
A very pretty color of light salmon with a peach hue.
Fruity nose of sweet raspberries, limes, red apples, melons, flowers, red candy, rose pedals, earth and herbs.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity, crisp and refreshing.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, strawberries, limes, grapefruits, bitter herbs, earth and light vegetables.
Nice tangy finish with limes and almonds.
This is a very tasty Rosé from Russian River Valley. Smooth and nicely balanced. Elegant with pretty legs.
This Single Vineyard is showing a great mouthfeel with nice acidity. Really enjoyed the nose.
Good right out of the bottle and good by itself. A great party wine that everyone would love.
100% Pinot Noir grapes. A very small production of only 125 cases.
13.6% alcohol by volume.

WNH virtual tasting with Gary Farrell wines. 2015 Ritchie chard, 2014 Fort Ross Pinot and 2015 Rochioli Pinot were the library choices.
I’m between a 93 and 94 here. This caught me totally by surprise. Flexing an ABV of 13.7, it has so much balanced richness and never comes across as lean. In fact, with the whole cluster usage here, it’s not green/stemmy. Gorgeous translucent purple in the glass with big aromatics of juniper, sage, high toned red and black berries, and cedar. Nimble on the palate with some herbal notes, and a really pretty red/black fruit sweetness (like really ripe rhubarb mixed with blackberries). Has both nice acidity and some tannic bite. I’d argue this was possibly even better in day two. Beautiful wine. — 21 days ago
This is a very tasty Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley. Nicely balanced and fruit forward with nice complexity and a soft mouthfeel.
Showing cherries, strawberries, earth, raspberries, light oak, spices, light vanilla, tobacco leaf and black pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with a long spicy finish. Easy drinking elegant and spicy.
Good by itself or with food. I gave it a slight chill and had it all by itself by the pool.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

Three common clones in Willamette here in RRV, and I get that on the nose, especially the Pommard. But the body is huge by comparison, to Oregon. Earthy and fruity, good acid. — a day ago
On the deck on a hot day! Fresh fruity bouquet. Raspberry and other sweet fruits up front. Then a classic Pinot earthiness but with a berry finish. — 2 days ago
