If you are ever unconvinced that Slovakia doesn’t make good wine you need to try is wine from Stekov. Fred 8 Is light bodied wine but finds that balance between complex and easy drinking. I saw another reviewer said Brett on the nose and totally agree it’s a little bit barley wine co- fermented but still super ripe. Deep celler with spiller wine on the nose. The taste is fruit and dark at first, with lots of dark berries quickly followed up by a sourness and a lighter taste that finished with a little but of warmth. Very well integrated and no specific taste or fruit takes over. Nice for anything when you want a good deep red wine but not to heavy nor light — 2 years ago
