Vintage 2014 | I was ignorant that wine of this quality is made on the isle of Mallorca. Only 1.000 bottles. Very serious glass made of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Syrah ánd Merlot. 12 to 15 months in new barrels. And 15 months bottle aging. Expressive smell with cassis fruit, some impressions of old wood and spicyness. 2014 can be aged further, it is quite young now. Nice present of Miriam, thank you! | paired with deer meatballs. — 3 days ago

Example of how a local red varietal from Mallorca can excel and be as enticing and satisfying as a bold continental wine from the top wine region in the world. Simply unique. Smooth, mellow, dark, deep, complex, with ripe fruit, spices and elegance that will linger for ever on your palate. Sublime. — a year ago
First wine from Menorca drinking on Menorcan soil. Chardonnay blend with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malvasia, Moscatell and Macabeu. With the heat here - currently 28 degrees at 10:30am - I assume they need to be very diligent at picking at the right time, ensuring the grapes don’t become full and fat and overly sweet. Surprised this was relatively dry with a tart finish. Medium bodied, good acid, and a fragrant nose of orange peel and melon. A perfect pairing with the lobster stew. — 2 months ago
Nose has dried pear, under-ripe peach, wet slate, cold wax and distant petrol.
Palate has dried pear, dried pineapple with fading acidity.
Still enjoyable, in a different spot than our prior bottle a few years back.
I believe the blend to be 60% Callet / 30% Prensal / 10% Muscat-Giro. All fruit from sunny Mallorca! — 8 months ago
