At 11.5% abv and with a striking salinity to boot, this was firmly in red kabi territory. Loved it! Officially a rosé, but really it’s a light red. Volcanic Poulsard was also another term thrown around on table, and frankly, it was quite apt. Beautiful aromas of pomegranate, tangerine, roses and some herbal hints. The wine just dances on the palate with tangy cranberry notes and lingering saltiness. So yum! — a year ago

First had this at the Advanced Somm course in Dallas. All natural but none of the funk and yeasty flavors that I get with some natural wines. Just tart, juicy red fruit. 2021 — 10 days ago
