2019 vintage. Very lean and stemmy side of Cabernet Franc, but without overt greenness. Red currant, red plum, lingonberry, violet, tarragon, Thai basil. Medium-minus body, good acidity for a warm-weather red. We're in the home stretch, fellow retail folk! β 4 years ago
Dark opaque ruby in appearance. Bold bouquet of intense sage, spearmint, and pine bark. Dried plum, herbs, and green peppercorns on the palate. Medium plus bodied, dry. Alcohol medium plus. Tannins are soft. This Coonawarra Cab is unique, quite the departure from the over-oaked, fruit dominant Cali experience. With the long finish, I'm going to give this a nod up to 94 points. This pairs perfectly with hard cheeses.

A delicious Cabernet for under $20. Has notes of plum, Cassis, sage, tobacco and black licorice. β 7 years ago

So smooth and delicious. Bold and strong that would stand up to stronger food flavours. β 6 years ago
