2020 vintage.
Originally planted in 1978, these are the oldest Riesling vines in British Columbia. The grapes come from a 2 acre north facing vineyard.
Bright, pale green gold colour.
Peach, petrol, wet rock, nectarine and white flowers on the nose.
Crisp, mouth watering acidity.
Lemon and lime rind. Slate, apricot pit, mandarin and white peach flavours.
The last bunches were harvested in late October only 12 hours before first frost and snow with whiteout conditions.
Old Vines Riesling is aged for 2 years in the bottle before release. — 5 months ago

Produced in the Alsatian traditional style of Edelzwicker, an aromatic blend.
All hand picked and hand sorted fruit.
50 % Gewurztraminer, 27 % Riesling, 10 % Pinot Auxerrois, 8 % Pinot Gris and 5 % Pinot Blanc.
Bright, shiny straw gold.
Apples, white flowers, ginger and citrus on the nose.
Tangerine, lemon lime, pink grapefruit pith, and honeysuckle flavours.

On the nose, this is has some funk of alcohol and a nice cherry aroma... Smoke. On the palate, this tastes more like cranberry with all the sourness that entails... Lip smacking at first... Some pepper coming through... A touch on the acid side... A satisfying medium finish with again some pepper. — 6 months ago
