Drank by itself but love this cab franc blend! Need to pair with venison — 2 months ago

Naked Mountain

Barrel Fermented Chardonnay 2014

Nice treat, VA Chard w/bottle age: dark gold colored, big time Burgundian nose, liberal oak, matchstick, butterscotch, apple, vanilla, pineapple, marmalade, tart rather than ripe. Oily, viscous on palate, juicy, lots of oak infused fruit flavors leading to decent finish. Glad I found this old because the oak might have been over the top on release. — 7 months ago

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Full bodied nice and dry but a taste that is beyond a regular cab. Smooth and an exquisite grape that leaves the pallet wanting more! Love it!! — 8 months ago

Belle Glos

Las Alturas Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019

‘Las Alturas' Spanish for 'the heights', a fitting name, this vineyard located on one of the highest grape-growing benches in the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA. 4th gen Winemaker Joseph J. Wagner from family with farming & winemaking roots in Napa since 1906. Met Joe several times. Deep Ruby (darkest Pinot I have come across). Nice berry and floral spice aromas. Rich cherry/plum flavors with oak, spice and vanilla. Long finish ending with sweet oak notes. Nice! A Fav! — 5 months ago

Alpha Estate

Hedgehog Vineyard Xinomavro 2018

Unfamiliar grape from uncommon place. Best described (by me) as remixed Nebbiolo with twist of cherry mint. Powerful and lucid at once, high alcohol, big boy tannin. Light and the color of ruby cherry juice with notes of pine and foresty cherry lozenge. — 9 months ago
