A delightful wine, perfect for winter sipping, and a real find from the north fork of Long Island. Concentrated dark fruit aromas with some graphite and rosemary, supple mouthfeel full of dark fruit and sweet spices, nice acidity and dusty tannins to make it old world in style. Long finish. — 5 years ago
Wow. This Long Island Sauv Blanc blew me away. Unique and delicious. #2GU #MiniWineReview — 6 years ago
One of the best the North Fork has to offer. We introduced this bottle to our fellow wine enthusiast friends at dinner, loved it! Paired perfectly with charcuterie, and red sauce dishes. Perfect for sipping and conversation.
Macari Vineyard says:
Our 2015 Cabernet Franc is bursting with notes of strawberry, cherry, and fresh herbs. With a lively freshness of red fruits on the palate, this wine is medium bodied, has layers of flavors, and a long, persistent finish. We love this grape! 100% estate fruit from the Macari family farm in Mattituck. — 3 years ago

Remarkable. My first flat Pinot meunière. Very Pinot or gamay like red but also blue fruits, underlying earthiness with mild rusticity - more recalling burgundy than Oregon forest floor. Flavors of clove and exotic spices with a spicy finish. — 4 years ago
A pleasant surprise. Way to go, Long Island! Light & fragrant. Fine in its own or with food. — 5 years ago

I don’t drink a lot of Pinot, let alone LI Pinot, but I could immediately tell this was special. Last 2 weeks of Aug 2014 temps dropped to 50 at night. Complex and impressive- less fruit forwards nearly 10 years later. Fruit from Macari. Stunning — 2 days ago
