Dark red fruit with a little acid at the finish! Good sale buy! — 7 years ago
Very different and more defined vintage. 90% Syrah, 4% Carignan, 2% Cinsault , 2% Grenache, 1% Tinta Barocca, 1% Mouvedre .. Whole lot of wine and a nicely balanced dry finish yet fruit-forward start. — 7 years ago
Nice, easy to drink, good structure, mild tannin, and yummy — 2 years ago
red fruit, little earthy, mineral, some smooth tannins — 4 years ago
Château Musar Bekaa Valley Rouge 2000: Medium-bodied. Medium acidity. Elegant structure & balance with silky, integrated tannins. Bordeaux nose with evolving layers from dark to red fruits. Dried herbs. Spice. Tobacco. Earth. Long smooth finish. All in all, this wine was drinking perfectly. Hitting all the right notes even at the 22 year mark. It doesn’t get much better than this delicious, exotic beauty. What an amazing & memorable vintage & wine! Great day to all! Cheers🍷 — 4 years ago
— 6 years ago
Joyous, but I’m pretty drunk now — 7 years ago
Dry but no bite at the end. Delish — 7 years ago
Thanksgiving wine- Catalanes red, 65% Carignan & 35% Syrah done up nice & dense almost like a baby CDF but less raspberry & more dark berry. Drank a 100% Carignan right after so interesting to compare. Very good & fresh style, but still more brooding & extracted given the Syrah I imagine. Throws off sediment so worth a decant. Interesting organic red. Earthy herbal aromas with a zippy bright sour cherry and red candied apple fruit. A Pet Nat zestiness. Nice acidity. — 4 years ago
Really surprised by this one. Never had the Carignan variety before. Smooth, full bodied akin to a Merlot with more of an airy sent and a filling taste of berries. — 7 years ago
Sucking on rocks without big fruit. Perfect minerally red — 7 years ago
