The 2021 Arbois Patchwork Chardonnay opens up with lively aromas of green apple and pear, lemon flesh and discrete hints of cedar. On the palate it is round, refined and balanced by firm acidity, leaving traces of wet stones and a sapid finish. Vinified from hand harvested fruit, matured unoxidatively for one year, bottled unfiltered and without any added SO2, this is a bright little Jura Chardonnay. — 3 months ago

Abrikoser. Marcipan. Parfumeegnet. Rigdom, fedme, viskositet. Fik et glas af en generøs tysker. 😎 (74 euro). — 2 months ago
Tasted at the winery with winemaker César Deriaux, the 2018 L‘Étoile Savagnin is delicious. It has aged for 3 years under a veil of flor in a dedicated part of their cellar which is a bit warmer and drier than the rest. It wafts from the glass with a wide array of nutty aromas, bread dough, bruised apple, dried ginger and a pinch of curry. The powerful mouthfeel is driven by excellent flavor concentration and balanced by lively acids. A lingering saltiness marks the complex finish and calls for a refill. — 3 months ago
Last one. Not sure what they’re after with this. — 2 months ago
This was a journey. Started off thin and watery. Took 45 minutes and then became very aromatic in a tertiary way. The nose was gorgeous for a while and palate got opulent but remained lithe. Then it finished off thin and watery but there was a good window. The score is for when it was drinkable. It was for maybe 40 minutes. Very cool to taste. Given to my friend by Puffeney for his 40th birthday. — 2 months ago
