Not a lot on the nose here. But Judeka certainly wakes up on the palate. Traditional Sicilian white varietals are mellowed with Chardonnay. No oak used in the aging process keeps the palate fruit forward. Mostly peach and apricot. There’s a perky green apple note on the finish. Well proportioned acidity and some sage on the finish. An unique wine. — 4 months ago
Tenute Bosco Piano Dei Daini Etna Bianco 2018: Medium-body. Medium acidity. Perfect balance with great minerality & freshness you’d expect from volcanic soils. Consisting of 90% Carricante, 5% Catarratto & 5% Inzolia, this Etna Bianco was bright and showcased flavors of citrus, peach, pear & flint. The finish was long & dry with a touch of saltiness. What a treat! What a pure & expressive Etna wine! Happy Sunday to all! Cheers 🌋🍷 — 7 months ago

Blend of blend of 60% Carricante, 25% Catarratto, 10% Grecanico and 5% Minnella, aged in French oak for 10 months. Pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits adding honeysuckle blossom. On the palate flavors of apple, apricot and lemon citrus with creamy vanilla wrapped in generous acidity, long finish ending with wet stone minerality. Nice! — 6 months ago
Great inzolia with a fine salted caramel drive. Loved it! — 2 months ago
Bright abs effervescent! Orange in color and a little hazy. Ripe peaches and a little must or mineral on the nose. Super bright refreshing punch at the end. — 4 months ago
Great, light and floral — 6 months ago
Developed by Winery founder, Giuseppe Tasca to honor his wife on their golden wedding anniversary. Primarily Inzolia with a bit of Sauvignon Tasca blended in. Beautiful straw gold color. Aromas and flavors of yellow apple, peaches, white flowers and honey. Quite expressive with a bit of heft which allows it to stand up to many different foods. Touch of wet stones on the long finish. Excellent balance. Thank You Ron B! — 8 months ago
Delectable Wine

The 2020 Etna Bianco Nerina takes things to a very serious level, with a white Burg-like bouquet of crushed oyster shells mixed with yellow apple, dusty dried flowers and hints of brown spice. Its silky, nearly-glycerol textures find balance through a core of saline-infused minerals and brisk acids, as nectarine mixes with bitter lemon pith to create further tension. This leaves the palate with a saturation of primary concentration, yet it maintains amazing freshness through the long and lightly structured finale. The balance of richness, structure and fruit here promises many years of positive evolution. It’s amazing to think that this is the “entry-level” Bianco from Girolamo Russo.
