Watch Hill Vineyard Grenache 2017

A food-loving Grenache from CA—yay! Plenty of cran-ripe acid. Lighter on the spice, higher on the acid. Grilled veggies, charred tomatoes and bell peppers, and a nice Italian Beyond sausage: just what this glass calls for! — 4 days ago

Three-Four Paso Robles Syrah 2012

2012 Vintage. 14.8% Alcohol. This has really smoothed out over time. Hitting it’s stride. We purchased this bottle at the winery so not an auction risk and it showed way better. Big Syrah with plush fruit and iron oxide and tobacco. — 12 days ago

En Combe Saint-Véran Chardonnay 2017

Wow this wine is singing and it’s just a baby!! This is probably the most exciting Wine I’ve had in a while, meaning that it jumped out of the glass and kind of cast a spell on us. Classic white burgundy profile: apples, pears, rocks and some chamomile tea but also with this touch of lightning that makes it magic! perfect with homemade chicken Pho but wd be perfect with many things 🌟❤️ — 3 days ago

Garrison Brothers

Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey

I’ve enjoyed Garrison Brothers’ Bourbon for many years now, and have gone through more than my fair share of bottles. Now, at long last, I’ve decided to indulge once more and get another bottle so I can make my all-time favorite Old Fashioned (called the “Hye Fashioned,” which is served at Four Seasons Austin’s lobby bar/lounge, Live Oak). Today was my first attempt at re-creating this sensational libation at home, and it was a hit 🔥 It consists of Garrison Brothers Bourbon, Remy Martin VSOP, Demerara simple syrup, Angostura bitters, orange peel, and Luxardo cherries. The Garrison Brothers Bourbon provides an integrally raw, firm backbone to the otherwise sweet nature of this luxurious iteration of a timeless classic 🥃 — a month ago

Grey Stack Cellars

Four Brothers Vineyard Pinot Noir 2015

Tart red fruit nose of raspberry, cranberry, and cherry. Bright cherry, on the palate with cranberry, rhubarb, fresh blackberry, and white pepper. Medium minus tannins, medium alcohol, and high acid. A smooth, medium bodied pinot that matched grilled salmon perfectly. — 13 days ago
