Ellis Alden Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Deep golden hue with tinges of brown. Aromas of baked pear, honey, and almond. Medium bodied with good acidity finishing with some phenolic bitterness. Michael Scorsone crafted this terrific wine from 100% Sauvignon Blanc fermented on the skins. Would drink now as it’s quite oxidized at this point. 13.5% ABV. $35. — 3 years ago
