With transparency. Chocolate like, but spicy. Matured or liquor like. 8.75. But next day, alcohol flavor was gone and turned to deep concentrated. Aroma is calm. 2014 @800, Medoc - XH, 200227-200302 — 8 months ago
Delicious! Rich, full bodied; beautiful bouquet.
C says: barn door but beautiful like old knotted barn board. Aged, but gorgeous.
Lovely to drink and sip again. — 5 months ago
Easy drinking medium body well balanced Bordeaux with an earthy under note. We discovered it last year in Hawkes Bay and it was one of the 25 bottles we brought home from the trip exploring the wine regions in New Zealand from Central Otago, Martinborough, to Hawkes Bay. — 7 months ago
Notes of black cherry with hint of anise atop a slight hint of brighter fruit, likely due to the combo of dried and fresh crushed fruit. Elegant texture, medium finish. — 8 months ago
Domus Aurea "house of gold" single vineyard cabernet sauvignon out of the upper maipo valley. Brownish tawny color is showing first signs of age. Cedar, dry wood on the nose. Purple fruit and black tea leaves on the palate. There is a sense of freshness and also grippy tannins are looming over this wine. Not sure if this will reach the 96RP it scored but well made nevertheless. 2010 vintage — 5 months ago
