a Premier Cru import actually received, it’s a beautiful bottle. Virtually no ullage, it’s a dark plum color that hints at the dark Vosne fruit. A spicy nose of plums and black tea, there’s outstanding thickness and depth to the soft texture, very dark-fruited, still no tertiary elements and no game, gentle tannins, a long life ahead. Really pretty wine. My first experience with this Rion, it’s an excellent Suchots. — 4 years ago

warm easy fruit, lots of raspberry, light on the structure but very nice — 6 years ago
Pop and pour yesterday. Better than I remember my last btl being. On the nose: musty mulberry, vanilla, spice, rose. On the palate: good acidity, lovely density and weight...black pepper, mulberry and blackberry. Soft, finely grained tannin on the finish. Yum. — 9 months ago
Happy New Year! 🥳🎉🎊🍷
Very black cherries, black plum with extra skin contact, blackberries, black raspberries, poached strawberries, dark spices with heat, clove, nutmeg, mix dark cola, dry top soils, crushed, dry, crushed rocks, eucalyptus, mint, dry herbs-bay leaf, dark rich earth, woody, leather, tobacco, grilled, heavy seasoned meats with candied, florals that are; dark, purple, red and some blue. Nice acidity. The finish’s is nice but needs more time in bottle to balance-soften. Yet, is persistent as hell.
Needs 3-8 years in bottle. However, with vinaigrette salad with caramelized walnuts & dry, dark cherries...👌 But, she’s a very dirty Burgundy on her own at this point.
The funny thing, I sadly don’t remember buying this wine. Hazards of owning too much wine in so many locations.

Great burgundy perfume of flowers, cranberry and cherries. Very fresh palate on opening. Raspberries, cherry and strawberries. Wine gets more serious after 30mn with a bit of leather and herbs. Good acidity and lightness on this one. Lacks substance for the long haul but up to 2025 let’s go! — 6 months ago
