Plum and piquant berry spice. Opens to be quite generous and textured. — 8 months ago
Some early for no but it blows off to bright fruit packed with bright acidity. Tons of fun. — 6 years ago
Tasted at the winery with winemaker César Deriaux, the 2018 L‘Étoile Savagnin is delicious. It has aged for 3 years under a veil of flor in a dedicated part of their cellar which is a bit warmer and drier than the rest. It wafts from the glass with a wide array of nutty aromas, bread dough, bruised apple, dried ginger and a pinch of curry. The powerful mouthfeel is driven by excellent flavor concentration and balanced by lively acids. A lingering saltiness marks the complex finish and calls for a refill. — 6 months ago
Delicately intertwined notes of baked apple, citrus, nutmeg and a hint of dried mushroom. All that plays into a flavorful mid-palate with a racy, tingling of tiny pinpoint bubbles. — a year ago
Has post dinner, but really needs food to balance out this laser intensity and robust body. Quite delicious. — 7 years ago

Sooooo simple yet with interesting complexity. Easy to drink but like you want to keep kissing it. Fruit nose and a touch of blue cheese on the finish. Yummmmmm — 6 years ago
