Highly elegant in aroma. Matured black fruits. Well balanced between sweetness from G and spiciness from S, pepper! Fruity and Gentle tannin. CP good! A bit too much for Japanese Sukiyaki, but quite nice! It can be enjoyed from one hour decanting. It changed day by day. Balance of taste is changing. First day is best. Excellent Cotes du Rhône with good depth. Owned by the makers of Domaine de Janasse so you can’t go wrong. Incredible value! — 4 years ago
Easy to drink, medium bodied , good structure — 2 months ago
We were shocked this was so good as a 16 year old cotes du Rhône. Drank with sushi dinner during the OU/iowa st game at dad’s house. Lots of dry dark berries, violets, long mouth coating finish. — 10 months ago

Young CDF at the starting gate so long decant or wait in bottle: quite refined & elegant with no rough edges. Concentrated cassis & black cherries with garrique wildness a suggestion, not a note. Paired with Cauliflower gratin & a summer salad, & gifted by our dinner guests…. — 12 days ago
