Chablis Chardonnay 2017

Doesn’t drink like a Chablis, rather closer to a chassagne montrachet. — 5 months ago

Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvée Vieilles Vignes-Morgeaux Pinot Noir 2015

Typo in the id: morceaux, not morgeaux. Anyway, this is a wine I’ve loved before, but when tasted next to the Carema it felt almost flabby. Still, we weren’t eating red meat, which would make this wine shine brightly through. Still great backbone and beautiful if indulgent fruit. — a year ago

Morey St. Denis Pinot Noir 2016

Good herb aroma and concentration. Later on Strawberry. 3 hours, Splendid, mix fruity flavor including plum, tropical fruits. I felt the same before when I tasted grand cru in Bourgogne. 2016 @2730, Kping - , 211020-211126 — 2 years ago

Morey St. Denis Pinot Noir 2016

I decided to revisit a bottle that was the winner of our horizontal tasting of MSD 2016 village (10 producers tasted blind by 10 participants). And once again this is a hit for a village. Lots of complexity, licorice, spices and red fruits... more than satisfactory length for this level of appellation. — 3 years ago

Vieilles Vignes Côte de Nuits-Villages Pinot Noir 2019

Birthday wagyu pairing. Wedding gift from Tony

Light bodied but complex with more intense notes than expected. Sour cherries, plum, earth - potting soil with a tinge of minerality and something green. Well balanced but just a touch of alc heat
