The nose reveals; dark, ruby, candied, currants & cassis, blackberries, black raspberries, black plum, black cherries, strawberries, cherries and creamy raspberries on the glass edges, sweet tarriness, anise to black licorice, dark berry cola, dark sweet liqueur, steeped tea, limestone minerals, sandy soils, volcanic minerals, dry crushed rocks, very light herbaceous notes, mint/eucalyptus, dark chocolate, dark expresso notes with dark, red floral with bright lavender & violets.
The body is rich, ruby and very full. The tannins are dark, round, velvety, yet tarry and sticky. This wine is somewhere just the inside of its peak. The structure, tension, length and balance are incredible but, will still improve over the next 3-5 years before it hits its peak. It’s sexy, gorgeous and voluptuous. Dark, ruby, candied, currants & cassis, blackberries, black raspberries, black plum, black cherries, strawberries, cherries and creamy raspberries on the glass edges, sweet tarriness, anise to black licorice, dark berry cola, dark sweet liqueur, steeped tea, limestone minerals, sandy soils, volcanic minerals, dry crushed rocks, hints of soft leather & tobacco leaf, light granite, more herbaceous notes & mint/eucalyptus than the nose, dark chocolate, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, vanilla, dark expresso notes with dark, red floral with bright lavender & violets. The acidity is round and perfect. The long, sexy, gorgeous, voluptuous, elegant, well balanced fruit & earth is endless.

Sipping Fine Wine
Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruits, espresso, cedar and sweet notes. On the palate flavors of black raspberry, strawberry and ripe black cherry with notes of cacao, vanilla and dried herbs. Fine rich tannins, long finish ending with fruit, cacao, spice and earthy, oaky mineral notes. — a month ago
