PnP. Very dark red, almost purple color. Anise, dark cherries, chocolate, eucalyptus, and alcohol on the nose. Same on the palate with subtle peppermint and oak. Medium plus depth, big wine, but does fade after a few hours open. Very nice but too much alcohol for me. — a month ago
1hr+ decant. Dark purple color. Dark fruit and cough medicine, with hints of prunes and baking spices on the nose. Cough medicine and more alcohol than I expected on the palate. Zero oak and lacks structure. Medium depth and the wine really coates the palate and sticks to your teeth. Medium plus finish. Good, just not my style.
Downgrading from 93 as this has become very harsh in the palate and fruit is gone. — 9 months ago
What a wonderful wine!!! We enjoyed it with a surf/turf dinner (steak & scallops). It was full bodied enough to go along with steak while remaining light enough so it didn’t overwhelm the scallops… — 2 days ago
This is what Merlot should taste like, and Clark knows how to make it happen. — 9 days ago
Clark is really good at making Chardonnay that ages well. — 2 months ago
High acidity, very dry. It’s earthy, menthol with dark fruit and leather. — 13 days ago
I don’t think of Clark Smith as a Pinot Noir kind of guy, but I knew he made wines that age. This was no exception, nothing short of sensational. — 14 days ago
Pretty intense for a Cab Franc, but I loved it. Bonnie found it a bit harsh. — 2 months ago
Beautifully balanced red blend shared by brother-in-law Simon Levine. Classic Bordeaux blend plus Petite Sirah, Syrah and sanviogese. Inviting smooth berry bouquet and delicious long finish. Compares very well with top Napa reds. Who knew Idaho could produce such great wines! — 9 months ago

Simply delectable. Such a full flavor and on the dry end for a Pinot noir. My wife and I loved — 4 days ago
