Château Fombrauge

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

Slow O’d for 3 hours, then double decanted. This is a rich and refined wine. Harmonious. Went great with Bistecca Fiorentina. — 2 months ago

Château Fombrauge Cuvée La Providence Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend 2005

Deep, dark iodine red in color. Nose of stewed fruit and caramel with a slight tinge of barnyard funk. Dark cherry, blackberry, stewed fig, and plum adding caramel and molasses in the middle. Finishes with fine acid, medium tannins and lingering caramel. A well balanced, mellow blend that builds in satisfaction through a long finish. — 4 years ago

Château Fombrauge Saint-Èmilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

Open knit...Probably because of the amount of Merlot in the blend. Out of a 375ml. The 750’s have not been bottled yet. Fun to drink. — 5 months ago
