Nose is a lively mix of pure apricot, honey, smell-able acids, some honey and a humus-like note. Intensely concentrated on the palate. Texturally there’s a feel of a tannin-like quality on the palate, but this is not a criticism. The honeyed quality is intense. — 5 days ago
On the Lawn at Tanglewood tonight to listen to Keith Lockhart conducting the Boston Pops live score E.T. The Extraterrestrial along with the film tonight.
A little almond and apricot, excellent balance on the sweetness and acidity. A little too cold tonight on the Lawn (57°F), but still half a bottle for follow-up on better climate controlled conditions. — 4 years ago

The old '89 Chateau Coutet Barsac. Golden amber and just perfect. — 5 years ago
Really nice Sauternes sweeter and a bit more viscous than the Y'quem and maybe since I was about 20 sheets to the wind it was standing out more than the Y'quem but after having it again the next day there was no comparison with the Y'quem. — 6 years ago
